Eye Spy some pretty incredible wallpaper
Abbi and Brendan were married in a private ceremony last year. This celebration was a chance to gather friends and family for great food, bad dancing, and lots of fun.
The two are the kind of people who make photographing them very easy which made our time before guests arrived an absolute blast. They’re lovely, easy going and were willing to follow me wherever I decide there might be a cool photograph.
I’m always looking for the little corners of a wedding venue perfect for pictures. A fun backdrop, great wallpaper, an interesting hallway, anywhere with a little atmosphere. Posto in Assembly Row Somerville had this incredible room covered in red floral wallpaper and mirrors that immediately caught my eye, and we spent some time playing around with it. We also wandered over to The Row Hotel, where the mood was darker and a little more cinematic.
THE VENUE
Good food, good people
Posto is a great spot for couples who want their wedding to feel like a really good night out. Think Italian food, wine, a lively atmosphere, and all your favorite people gathered around the table. The space has plenty of personality of its own, so you don't need to transform it into something it's not. It's a restaurant, it's fun, and it's a place people want to spend time. Honestly, a wedding built around a great meal and a good party is such a dream to me.
