Molly and Sarah got ready at two private homes on the island. Sarah at her aunts house with cousins around to do help with hair and makeup. Molly at a friend's guest house with her bestie, Mo, sipping beers and steaming wrinkles out of a sage green suit embroidered with the work Yahtzee, Sarah's favorite game and a nod to the way in which Molly proposed in Paris, with a ring in a Yahtzee shaker.
The two were married on the dock at Long Pond, Nantucket surrounded by just a handful of friends and family. After the personalized vows and I do's Sarah sabered a bottle of champagne, a skill she feels very proud of and is always eager to show off! Photos proceeded and passerby's cheered as they drove by in their off road vehicles. The newlyweds then hopped in a Jeep to ride downtown for a costume change at Faraway Hotel, then a celebratory toast at The Pearl. Every element of the wedding felt like an ode to this island where their story began and an ode to love that can be found while working in the hospitality industry.
